Even with the lack of email lists for the US House of Representatives, Sheryle Hutter was able, with the help of her son, (Don Hutter, Jr.) and a friend, to distribute the Cover Letter and the 2010 Family Preservation Congressional Survey to all offices in the US Senate and most offices (some kicked back) in the US House by late last night June 01, 2010.

We are once more requesting that you and others contact their state congressional team and ask that they complete and return this survey.

Whew! That was a task, now the really hard part will be capturing and summarizing the data that comes in by June 16, 2010.

It will be worth it because then we will have a really good idea for who to visit when we lobby congress in July.

Thanks for your assistance and sponsorship, I truly believe that as we all work together that 2010 will be the year of strong, positive family preservation efforts.

PS I have written an email to Nancy Pelosi (US Speaker of the House )asking that an email list for press secretaries in each US Representatives office be made available for public access. I would appreciate your support with this effort by sending your own email note to her at americanvoices@mail.house.gov requesting the same. Since all representatives vote on every bill that hits the floor (House of Representatives) if an issue surfaces, we should certainly have the option of contacting everyone of them easily, quickly, and without the huge cost of copying and mailing by US Postoffice.

Our hats are off to Sheryle for her effert not only for this survey, but for her persistance to get this survery out to most of the House and all of the Senate.
