As the founder of this org. I hear stories from time to time. I have one I would love to share with you that has warmed my heart. The mother of this beautiful little girl works for me. She is divorced from this daddy, however…even though she can not get along with this daddy, she has chosen the right path for her daughter. This father and this child and this mother are still a connected family. This in our opinion is in "The Best Interest of the Child". This little girl loves her mother and her daddy, and they both love her very much. They share this child as if she belongs to both of them, which is exactly how it should be. I can tell you that it is a blessing to see how this little girl is being raised. She is loving and caring and has the love of both her parents, even though they cannot be married and raise her under the same roof. My hat is off to them both. I would like to end this story with this very important piece of information. These two parents both support this child financially. This father was injured and out of work due to a very serious accident where he was burned. Not one time did I hear this mother say she was going to keep this child from her daddy because he was not working and couldn't give her any child support. I was so impressed with this. This child should not have to suffer the loss of her daddy because he was out of work. Beth, I just want to say how proud I am to have you working in my office. |
