Adoption was not designed to take children from loving families due to the lack of money to pay child support, or because one parent manages to keep the other parent away long enough to claim abandonment.
Adoption is supposed to help children…help them have a family…make their lives better…allow them to grow up in a normal family…allow them to have what they other wise would not have.
If you are involved in the life of a child and you find yourself in an adoption situation…if this child is clearly available for adoption…if you love this child above and beyond anything or anyone you ever loved before…if this child loves you and trust you and wants to be yours…we say…get your ducks in a row and go for it.
