Posted On 2006-06-09 , 12:40 AM

Two attorneys in the same office. They split and go their separate ways. Whether they end up friend or foe...do you think it is fair for them to be on opposing sides of a case?

Judge's Reign
Posted On 2006-06-05 , 11:27 AM
The president of the United States is only allowed two terms as President...This keeps one man from becoming too powerful. Superior Court Judges have the priveledge of running for office as many times as they wish. As long as the public re-elects them...they can set on the bench until they fall asleep in their robes. Over time they acquire more and more power. The buddy system - good 'ole boys club becomes very strong. Do you think a judge should be allowed more than two terms on the bench?

Should Judges Be Allowed To Practice Law?
Posted On 2006-06-05 , 11:25 AM
Certain Judges are appointed while others are elected. Do you think either of them should be allowed to set on the bench and practice law at the same time. For instance - Do you think a Juvenile Judge - should be able to handle Juvenile Cases from the bench and also handle Adoptions through his private law practice?
