Letters of Interest To-My-Granddaughter

A Message to my Dear Granddaughter, Shannon,

rockymtnmom2@aol.com

Being a parent or grandparent is probably the most special role that any one can have in life. Although I am able to be grama to many children through Special Olympics, that role does not replace my relationship with you as your grandmother.

I want to be part of your life and to know you for the very special young lady that I believe you have become.

Another holiday has come and gone and it has now been 2 years since I have seen you and I hope it might be in God’s plan for that to change in 2010.

Family on both sides is important and growing up with both parents is the way that you learn about more than one person’s way.

We wonder how you are doing in school, whether you are driving, if you went to homecoming, are you still in sports, and when you shop for that special dress for the prom next spring I would love to be part of that shopping spree.

We love you and miss you a lot, we know that you are growing up and at 16 ½ it is so important to know that whenever you are ready, we want you to call, drop a note, or stop by for a visit.

You are always welcome and very loved.
