However, we feel there are many things that can go wrong once a person has been elected…leaving us confused and tormented about their election…or the way they run their office. We would like to provide as much information as possible to the public about elected officials and the offices they run.

We are not here to discredit or support anyone. We encourage you to keep your eyes open…and before making your choice of who to vote for… always obtain as much information as you can find. Dig if you have to…but make sure you are informed before voting.

We feel that elected officials have a duty to follow the law the same as the people that elect them. Since elected officials who draw their salaries from tax money…we believe they should have to give account for what they do and why they do it…for the job they have been elected to do. We feel they are no different than the working man that holds a job at a particular company and has to answer to the person that pays their salary.

We would like you to know what it means
to be an elected official. 

• Being an elected official carries a huge amount of responsibility. Answering to the American public is not always an easy task. It is like working from a high wire without a net. They have a million and one things they must do…and everyone thinks they must get it all done NOW.
• You would think it would be a privilege…not to have to answer to a supervisor, however what it really does is put them out on a limb. Making their own decisions…knowing that voters are watching their every move…and if they mess up…people may not vote for them again, which would put them out of a job on election day.
• Being able to work and not worry that someone is standing over their shoulder…should be a blessing, but the fact of the matter is…even though they have no one physically standing over their shoulder…they do have the burden of the constant eye of the public watching their every move…be it their public life or their private one.

• You would also think it would be a great relief to know there is no one they can be reported to. However, there are public reports made about elected officials on a daily basis. These reports are tried in the media…and if they can't find a way to discredit the story…it might just live with them for the rest of their days…making it sometimes hard if not down right impossible to get re-elected.
• For the most part they are their own boss, they really have no one to answer to, and if you find yourself needing to report their actions…Good Luck
• And last but not least…they know all of the above

Now we would like you to know what you can do if an elected official is not what you think he or she should be. 

We do believe that most elected officials run for office to make a difference…we also believe some elected officials should not have been voted into office…and they should not be re-elected. 

Our founder once had the misfortune to be very unhappy with a clerk of court…for spreading very untrue gossip. She tired and tried to report her to the proper people. She left message after message at place after place. No one seemed to know what to do…or who to report it to…people kept passing the buck…and giving her phone number and name after the other. Then one day when she least expected it…a judge from Superior court called to chat about her complaint. When she finished telling him what had taken place…he very nicely told her that there really was no one to complain to about an elected official. She then said to him…”You mean there is nothing I can do about this?” This very nice speaking judge said, “Now I didn't say there was nothing you could do about it, what I said was…there really is no one to complain to…but you can campaign against her at election time.” At the time…it meant very little to her, but as time has gone on…those words have come to mean the world to her…as she plans to do just that…Campaigning against an elected official is high on her list of important things to do…for the judge that gave her this information is the very judge in her son's case.

MAKE SURE YOU KNOW WHO YOU ARE VOTING FOR…CHECK OUT ALL THE FACTS BEFORE YOU CAST YOUR BALLOT. MAKE SURE YOU KNOW WHAT THEY STAND FOR…HOW THEY PLAN TO KEEP THEIR WORD…AND MOST OF ALL…DO THEY PLAN TO DO THE THINGS YOU THINK WILL MAKE A DIFFERENCE FOR THE PEOPLE THEY WILL BE REPRESENTING?

REMEMBER…THEY ARE PAID OUT OF YOUR POCKET.

IF YOU FEEL THAT AN ELECTED OFFICIAL IS NOT RIGHT FOR THE JOB…NOT DOING HIS DUTIES…OVER STEPPING HIS BOUNDS…OR SIMPLY JUST BEEN THERE TO LONG AND IT BECOMES EVIDENT THAT HE OR SHE NEEDS TO BE REPLACED.
