Step-Family

A family composed of a parent, a stepparent, and a child or children by a previous marriage.

Step families develope when the bio parents split up and one or both marry again. At that point the children are left with one custodial parent and one step parent. Hopefully the non-custodial parent and the step parent are able to find a happy medium so all can have as normal a life as possible.

While we understand there is "NO" "Perfect" situation in this whole world, we also understand that most any situation can be worked out...if and only "IF" both sides are willing to give and take.

The so called 50/50 give and take you have heard about all your life is way off base. When you enter into any situation, you must be willing to give 100% of yourself to make it work, 50% of anything is only giving half, and half will get you the same, "Half".

Arguing over children is not
going to fix the problem.

Step Families

We aren't saying you have to like it,
but it is necessary to try.

We would like to bring to your attention that children ar able to love their step parents if given the right opportunity, but removing their bio parent from their lives can cause an enormus amouth of pain for the child, which will also cause problems for the new step family.

Children are the only people in a family that make it a step family, please respect their views and wishes as much as possible.

If it is not possible to keep a bio parent in a child's life due to safety reasons, be sensitive to the feelings of your child(ren).

IF YOU ARE ONE OF THOSE PEOPLE THAT GIVES WHAT YOU GET...TRY GIVING WHAT YOU WOULD LIKE TO RECEIVE.

BROKEN FAMILIES ACROSS THIS LAND ARE WAITING FOR SOMEONE TO HELP.

CHILDREN SHOULD BE OUR FIRST PRIORITY - FAMILY IS THE MOST IMPORTANT GIFT YOU WILL EVER RECEIVE.
