"SURVIVORS"

Three Sides to Every Story, Inc. is looking for stories of adult survivors of a childhhod that was ruled by the system.

  • Were you raised in a single parent home and you would like to express how it felt?
  • Were you alienated from a parent or grandparents because of jealousy?
  • Were you taught to hate a parent?
  • Did you grow up hearing one story and found out another to be the truth after you were grown?
  • Have you come full circle with your alienation and would like to share your story?
  • Do you feel that your childhood has kept you from alienating your child from a parent?
  • Was it later in life that you realized you were doing the same thing to your child that was done to you?

We are all products of our childhoods. Some come out on the other side with the ability to learn from their experiences, while others suffer great amounts of torment trying to place the pieces together to make them whole. If you are able to put your experiences to words and can explain how you feel about your survival...please contact us at three3sides@aol.com.

Many children are caught up in the fight between their parents and have no way out. It is our belief that parents don't wish to harm their child, they simply don't realize the damage they do to them when they make a child choose one parent over the other, or take a parent completely out of that child's life.

At Three sides to Every Story, Inc. we strive to educate parents and law makers as well as the general public of the need for children to have both parents and both sides of grandparents after separation and/or divorce.

Children are the future. Today's adults were the future when they were a child. Today's survivors are now living in what was to be their future. We would love to hear your ideas on how your today would have been different if not for the alienation effects that you lived in while you was growing up.

A PERSONAL NOTE FROM OUR FOUNDER ABOUT PARENT OF THE WEEK.

My name is Bessie Hudgins; I am the Founder/President of Three Sides to Every Story, Inc.

As I prepare to turn sixty two, I find myself deeply involved in the world of family and juvenile courts over my grandchildren. Between my son and I we are constantly trying to figure out the best route to take to secure a place in his children's lives.

As I began to see the devastation for children and parents as well as grandparents all over the country, due to the un-family court system, I decided to start this organization.

I have lived my adult life as a survivor of many of the very things that we are trying to educate people about, to help them understand what the effects of these actions are.

  • Parental Alienation
  • Wrongful Adoption
  • Abandonment by One Parent
  • Taken from the Other Parent
  • Abused as a Child
  • Molested by an Uncle
  • Growing Up Without My Siblings
  • Running Away from Home at the Young Age of 15
  • Teen Pregnancy – Giving Birth all Alone
  • Reuniting with My Mother
  • Locating My Father – He was Deceased – Horrible Way to Find a Parent
  • Finding 6 Siblings after I was Grown - I didn't even know They Existed
  • Trying to Fit in, in a World that didn't give Two Hoots if I Survived

This list could go on and on, but I think by now you get the point. I hope by opening up my own story and sharing the experiences of my childhood, I can help others with what I have learned from it.

We need people with compassion and understanding to stand up with their story and help bring awareness to our growing list of actions that are happening to our children of divorce. By telling these stories and honoring those that work to change this system, we educate those coming along now and maybe, just maybe we can stop them from going through what we have gone through.

We look forward to working with you and sharing information with each other that will help to bring these horrible actions to their knees and end this war on our nation's children.
